Historic Denver Neighborhood of:

Cheesman Park

Cheesman Park is full of Historic Homes of Denver and is named after the 80+ acre park in the heart of Denver of the same name.  The residents of Cheesman Park are often young, hip and bring a certain amount of eclectic flair to the Denver community.  Nestled between downtown Denver and Cherry Creek and named after Denver pioneer Walter Cheesman, Cheesman Park and has a rich and colorful history.

LafayetteToday, many of the old Historic Homes of Denver remain, however, many were lost prior to Denver creating specific Historic restrictions to preserve what is left of our heritage.  Cheesman Park is a beautiful park with panoramic views of the entire Rocky Mountain Front Range. It is one of the last urban parks in the country where vehicles are permitted to travel through and around the grounds.

Surrounded by gorgeous Historic Homes of Denver if you are looking for charm, history and elegance, you've found it here!  Much of the architecture found in Cheesman Park is Victorian, Large Denver Squares and many mansions from the turn of the last century.
